Capt Jamie Currey



Capt Currey joined Cumberland Composite Squadron in January 2011 to support her son and other cadets.  Since that time she has worked primarily in Cadet Programs.  She is the recipient of the Achievement Award for her work in Cadet Programs.  While Deputy Commander of Cadets her squadron has received the 2013 Ground Team of the Year Award, 2013 Squadron of Merit, 2012-2013 Quality Cadet Unit Award, and 12 members received the Disaster Relief Ribbon with Silver V for Hurricane Sandy.

She currently holds specialty track ratings in Safety (Technician) and Cadet Programs (Senior).  She also holds an Emergency Services ratings of GTL, GTM3 and MSA.

In civilian life she is married with three boys.  She is a behavior assistant specializing in Asperger teens.  She also volunteers at the Millville Army Airfield Museum, and is an active member of several community programs including American Red Cross, CASA, VFW, Wounded Warrior Project and Veterans Helping Veterans.
